Ken, the visionary proprietor of the Kingsmen Pub in Forestdale, embarked on a culinary pilgrimage to Paris.
He ventured to the heart of France's culinary scene, the vibrant market of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. He wandered through the bustling stalls, seeking out the finest cuts of beef and the freshest herbs. He even made a detour to Dijon, the mustard capital of the world, but alas, the elusive Dijon mustard proved too elusive.
Inspired by the legendary steak frites at renowned internet sensation restaurant Le Relais de l'Entrecôte known for it’s unique heritage, he sought to bring this iconic dish to his local pub.
After a journey through Parisian markets and a detour to Dijon, Ken returned to Forestdale, armed with the knowledge and passion to recreate the perfect steak frites. Today, the Kingsmen Pub offers an unlimited feast of succulent steak, crispy fries, and rich Béarnaise sauce, transporting diners to the heart of Parisian culinary tradition.
